Our Story
From Harbin
to Sacramento.

Zhang Liang Malatang (Zhang Liang Malatang) was born in Harbin, China — a city celebrated for its bold, hearty flavors. What started in 2008 as one restaurant with a simple promise — fresh ingredients, real broth, made daily — grew into one of the world's most recognized Chinese hot pot brands.

Today, Zhang Liang operates over 6,000 locations across 20+ countries. Our Sacramento store brings that same tradition to Northern California: a bright, welcoming dining space, a self-select ingredient bar restocked every morning, and signature broths simmered slowly from scratch each day.
